Whether you are looking to start diving, or are an experienced diver (from any diving background) looking to join a club, MKSAC has something for you. .  .

MKSAC offers training from Ocean Diver to Advanced Diver, and much more! As a club we have members of all ages, shapes and sizes, with characters to match! In general we meet Tuesday evenings (7.30pm) at our Club House, where you can re-fill air cylinders, find out about pending dive trips or courses and get to know everyone.

When I joined the club, I didn’t quite know what to expect. I was certainly not aware that there was so much diving to be done in the UK, I’d imagined it was something for holidays. Now, I spend many weekends away on the south coast. Learning to dive is a unique experience, and the club ensured I had plenty of information about kit, costs and diving in general (Everybody has an opinion, yer know!!) I soon discovered that they are great people, with diverse backgrounds in life, diving knowledge and experience.

We dive all year round (well, some of us anyway ! ) using the Blue Lagoon in Bletchley as our local dive site (Sunday Mornings 10.30am) and sometimes Stoney Cove near Hinckley.  We also organise several weekends away on the south coast from April – December.  The club owns a RIB which is often used for diving trips in various parts of the UK.  A picture of the rib in action at the South Coast is shown below.

Further afield - In 1999 we had a week’s trip to Scapa Flow, 2000 was Egypt,  Summer 2001 we went to Norway to dive the fjords.  2002 was nearer home with trips to Oban and Cornwall.  No firm plans for 2003 yet but Scotland or a return to Norway are possibilities.

Of course, as a qualified diver you are free to dive wherever, when ever (within reason ! ) but being a part of a club excursion makes for fun, laughter and tales to tell. We are a bit of a mixed bunch  - and that makes a great club to be a part of.

Why not find out for yourself?
