Oxygen Course13th of March saw the first Skill Development Course of the year. Nine students (and their Instructors) squeezed into the clubhouse to learn the theory and practice of Oxygen Administration. Thanks to Dunstable SAC for the "Hunky" manikin (below right).
Bowling NightFriday 12th March (and with an Oxygen Admin course looming in the morning) saw an evening of ten-pin bowling at Xscape. Despite equipment failure (and the more technical members examining the mechanism, below right, with interest), four games were played. Results were well spread with Pete, Adrian, Richard and Andy each winning one game.
AGM 2004Sunday 25th January saw (probably) our last AGM in the existing Clubhouse. Over half the membership (below left) heard the various reports and awards. Highlight was the voting for the "Wally of the Year".A record number of nominations (19) preceded frantic voting but Graham (below right, dark top) won this prestigious trophy. Despite entries such as "ten divers setting off for Scapa Flow without a map", the "upside down lifting bag" and "filling a diesel car with petrol", Grahams leaving of a brand new dry-suit at Stoney cove was a clear winner.
